Neighborhood guide

Brickell

Miami's financial spine, rebuilt vertical.

“Brickell doesn't sleep so much as dim the lights — the towers keep the avenue lit long after the trading floors close.”

Once a stretch of banking headquarters, Brickell is now Miami's densest residential skyline — a corridor of supertall towers between the financial district and Biscayne Bay. Its unofficial epicenter, where SLS Lux, SLS Brickell, and Brickell Heights cluster together, has become shorthand for the neighborhood's whole silhouette. Brickell City Centre anchors the ground level with retail and restaurants; above it, condo towers compete for the best bay-and-skyline sightlines in the county.

$$$$ · Japanese

Chef Rainer Becker's contemporary Japanese izakaya on the Miami River — robata grill, sushi counter, and a waterfront terrace with direct yacht access. Zuma's Miami debut opened in 2010 and remains one of Brickell's defining power-dinner rooms.

LPM Restaurant & Bar

$$$$ · French Mediterranean

French Riviera-inspired dining at 1300 Brickell Bay Drive — French shutters, bold Mediterranean art, and à la minute Côte d'Azur cuisine served family-style, with a well-regarded zinc bar for cocktails.

Komodo Miami

Komodo Miami

$$$ · Southeast Asian

A multilevel, plant-filled dining and lounge space at 801 Brickell Avenue serving high-end Southeast Asian small plates — one of Brickell's most consistently buzzy rooms, with a rooftop lounge above the main dining floor.
